• Prune roses when buds push
  
• Add Bumper Crop or compost to improve soil
• Divide Late-blooming perennials
• Plant trees and shrubs
• Fertilize trees and shrubs
• Prune trees and shrubs, but not late-blooming speciments
• Start seeds indoors
• Plannt cool seasons vegetables like lettuce, broccoli and cauliflower
• Apple Pest Fighter Oil (early in April)
• Prune out any winter damage to evergreens
• Prune back Crape Myrtle
• Begin spray schedule for fruit trees

Lawns:

• Fertilize turf
• Apply pre-emergent crabgrass control (until April 23)
• Reseed damaged areas of lawn
• Apply grub control if needed
• Apply lime if needed
• Begin to mow
